Weary, Happy and a new potholder

I love being with WP., but I am sick of the stacking, packing, and loading the truck.  I just stayed home today and slept.  We had the kids this weekend. I was all in but my shoelaces. I truly believe we are not half done.  Monday we tear out the downstairs bathtub. It will be nice if we get the walk in tub in case the folks do move in. There is something wrong about and old lady having her own nail apron and crowbar.  I have my dad to blame for this mess.  I should have never hung around my dad and stayed in the house with the women. Guess I should accept part of the blame.

Just a new potholder, but it is so very cute.  I cannot say enough good things about the patterns from Whiskers and Wool .  whiskersandwool.blogspot.com.   I love graphs, and hers ARE the best I have ever used.  When I get some ink I plan on buying most of her patterns. You have no idea what that says about the patterns.  I plan on never buying anymore unless they are just over the top.  I have boxes upon boxes going out my door. True, many came from my friend Barb when I was working for her.  She never stopped sending me the new stuff  from her business. She does not want them back...I ask.. I pleaded....So to a church they go. I am ashamed about all the things I have been given and I never shared...shame on me.

Its been hard work , but its kind of exciting. I am going to just take over my son's old bedroom. I am getting rid of everything in that room. The closet will have shelves. I am getting a new TV and I will have Sat. in my room.  I may never come out :). We really did not need the 4th bedroom  anymore.

Blogger is not playing nice with me so. I am not sure this will post or stay posted. Blogger always straightens up eventually.

My dears, may each one that stops by be blessed this week with things to look forward to, and lots of happy thoughts.  Lift up your bangs girls I am sending you a kiss for your ford bumper (forehead).

Hey Mimi, I was a Tomboy too in my granddaddy's garage- I grew up with a hammer and nails just like the yarn and dolls!

If you want to get rid of any more patterns, Get a large Priority mail box, fill it with whatever you want to get rid of and I'll pay the postage. I'm always after new patterns and you'd have access to them anytime you wanted!

Good luck with the cleaning out!

I meant flat rate Priority, 14.95. You can send up to 70lb in one of those boxes.

Little girl... the good stuff is yours. Would cost to much to mail. Will be going to Ky. in the Fall drive right by your mall meet you there and unload them. How much time do you need for a heads up?

Hi Mimi-

That would be great- It would be wonderful to meet you guys. As soon as you can give me a heads up on a date please do- it's easier to arrange time off work or work around it if it's not already one of my days off. I'm off Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays anyway. Anything else I will work around given enough time. 2-3 weeks ahead is great- anything shorter than that I'll work around if it's not already my day off. Yeah, the mall is not far from the Cairo Bridge exchange at 60/51/55/57 going to IL or MO. I used to go to Houston Mo that way. Let me know when- I'd bend over backwards to get to meet you!

Mimi,

Yes KY Oaks is still there in fact they are in the process of remodeling the inside but still open while doing so. It is about 25 min from my house or 15 from my dad's and we eat at IHOP down the street 6 days a week every morning for bkfst.

Cant wait!
