Remember part 2

Remember this little sweater I knitted using Bernat Stripes. It is in the little Bernat Stripes Booklet.

Remember

Hat

I made the hat and mittens back in Jan for my baby grandson. I left one row off the hat . I wish I had left two rows off. Still pretty cute don't you think? The post about the hat was Jan.25,09.

Big Big Purse? Tote? Done

granny felted bag BAG link

The bag pics are not the best. They show the bag with a bag of stuffing in the bag (for size). I cut part of a place mat to sturdy up the bottom, but it can be removed for a soft bottom bag. The handles are very different and I placed them to make the bag expand if needed. I also put a button on the inside to close it up if you wanted. I think the pics do not do it justice.

The bag and pics and my changes are on my March 6/09 post.

Baby sweater Love

Darling pattern for sweater is at this site

I really like this little sweater. It is made of I love This Cotton Yarn from Hobby Lobby. I used a G hook for a smaller size . It should be a 3-6 mo size. I made button holes and rev sc around the collar. The ruffle is 4 dc sl st in each st. around the bottom of the sweater. On the ends of the ruffle edge I just put 2 dc. I only did 8 rounds of dc for the sleeves then sc 2 rnds decreasing 5 st. on row 9 sc around on row 10 and the rev sc around the sleeve. The cheeries are just circles and the stem a ch 16 folded in sport yarn. The leaves are ch 7 slp st. in 2nd ch from hook ,sc in next ch, hdc in next ch,sc in next ch, slp st in last ch. On the oposite side of the ch. sc in next space, hdc in next space sc in next space and then slp st in last st. Leave thread long enough to sew leaves on.

Grapes are done now the peach is in the hoop.
