Weary, Happy and a new potholder

  I love being with WP., but I am sick of the stacking, packing, and loading the truck.  I just stayed home today and slept.  We had the kids this weekend. I was all in but my shoelaces. I truly believe we are not half done.  Monday we tear out the downstairs bathtub. It will be nice if we get the walk in tub in case the folks do move in. There is something wrong about and old lady having her own nail apron and crowbar.  I have my dad to blame for this mess.  I should have never hung around my dad and stayed in the house with the women. Guess I should accept part of the blame.

Just a new potholder, but it is so very cute.  I cannot say enough good things about the patterns from Whiskers and Wool .  whiskersandwool.blogspot.com.   I love graphs, and hers ARE the best I have ever used.  When I get some ink I plan on buying most of her patterns. You have no idea what that says about the patterns.  I plan on never buying anymore unless they are just over the top.  I have boxes upon boxes going out my door. True, many came from my friend Barb when I was working for her.  She never stopped sending me the new stuff  from her business. She does not want them back...I ask.. I pleaded....So to a church they go. I am ashamed about all the things I have been given and I never shared...shame on me.

Its been hard work , but its kind of exciting. I am going to just take over my son's old bedroom. I am getting rid of everything in that room. The closet will have shelves. I am getting a new TV and I will have Sat. in my room.  I may never come out :). We really did not need the 4th bedroom  anymore.

Blogger is not playing nice with me so. I am not sure this will post or stay posted. Blogger always straightens up eventually.

Sock Monkey Cuteness

   Sweater link This is my favorite pattern its called Everyday is a New Sweater Day. I have lost a notebook that was full of ideas for this sweater. Its here somewhere.  I just needed to feel good about a finished project. I think this is a  version of an idea in my missing book. I am over the notebook loss. I have started a new one. I grieve over a cowboy sweater I could not wait to do. I cannot for the life of me remember what it was exactly.  I need some blueberries they are suppose to be good for your memory.

We got the kids Wed. and they go home Monday morn. WP. and are having a little adventure Tuesday. That more than likely leaves the Sunday update out.

This is turning out to be the most lovely summer and my dears I wish you the same. Hugs my bugs

I just noticed someone is now running around the house  heheheheh I am going to fill up water balloons with ice cold well water and pelt the little dudes. I have the perfect place right out the back door on the deck..  I may not be their favorite grandma, but they will remember me.
