All the crocheted Wubbzy guys are done!!!!!!

I don't mean this in a vain way but as my grandma use to say.....only Jesus
knows. I found this booklet difficult. I must add this I learned many new ways of doing things. So all in all I am glad I made them.

Easter will be here on the side of the hill. Nan and popaw's 63 anniversary is April the 4th so April the 3rd we are having an Easter egg hunt, good eats, and an anniversary party. Lots to do.

After Easter it I am hoping for some mimi time.

My dears may this week bring you such joy, some lovely surprises and thoughts of good things. ((((hugs))))

Did you hear the screams and see hair flying about?

Warning this pattern book is not for the faint of heart. I have been crocheting since I was 10 and following patterns by 14 or 15. Never have I ever seen patterns written in such a manner. Yes it has all the standard US abb. etc. You would have to give it a go to really understand. I have to give the author high praise it was for sure original.

I found the book for 1.79 at Hobby Lobby they have them all over the net for 7.95. My grandson likes them so it is to be an Easter present. I just don't know if I can get the moxie to do the other two. I have to say this it took my mind off things. I was up till 2am last night on THEE tail ripped it back and started early this morning. The tail was the last piece to do. It is now 12:30 am and I just finished it up. I still need to clean it up a little . The stuffing is all over, but I wanted to get pics up. The tail instructions were 2 1/2 pages long (seriously).

My DD is not allowed to let her future children watch this show. Not doing it again girls.

I am now over half done on my meme project. I just miss making baby things so very much. I am looking forward to getting all my projects caught up so I can do what I want to do.

My dears, I wish for you good things always...

Not Much Going On Here

I finished the felted hat it was from the Lion Brand Hats book. I used Lion Brand wool. Lion Brand is for the most part good yarn. I do not like their wool. It just is not even close to Bernat or Patons. I have a bunch of Lion wool I bought when Wal-Mart closed out their good yarn selection here. Now it all will be felted purses, totes maybe some mittens for kids. ((bummer)).

I am not even half done on my meme project. I may have to take a break and make something for a baby.

I think my arm is getting better. I crocheted for almost 30. min the other day. Maybe in time I will be back in the saddle. Our house is getting organized and I cook more things I shouldn't like blueberry bread. It does smell good.

Ya and No were here this weekend. We painted magnets for the fridge, baked 2 batches of cookies, played basketball(OK I watched). Ya now can make a crochet chain with even tension. I should have taken a picture of it. It was about 18 ft long (seriously). I started her on a scarf, but all she wants to do is chain. I know this will change and I can't wait till she is looking for project yarn from my stash. I have a dream we go and look for yarn, books, a partner in crime hehehehe.

I did buy the batting for the quilt so my goal is for it to be in the frames by Wed.

Well, may this week be so wonderful that you will remember it for a long time. Smiles and hugs

Ya's Quilt

Let me tell you I am not what I use to be. It took me all day to get to this point on this small quilt. It is still not picked over (strings) or ironed. It seems like yesterday I could have knocked this out in an hour and it would have been perfect. This I do believe is the first quilt I did not miter the corners. God forgive me for thinking less of others quilts when they chose not to miter. As grandpa would say "sissy you have been brought down a notch". Yes, indeed. My dear grandpa I have stomped on my magnifying glass.

I need to decide if I am going to add another patch work border. Nan will be here Thur. night to spend the night. Maybe we can hash it out then. I think I need batting so this may mean a trip to town with the precious nan-nan.

I can only do things for about 5-10 Min's. then my arm hand and wrist start giving me fits. I have a felted hat I am working on, the quilt, a project for me. I switch back and forth for relief....its just hateful.

I made stew today and cookies. I am sending food to my DD tonight then Nan and Popaw. Maybe someone is voiding out my recovery prayers because of all the food they are now receiving. ;)

My dears may you have joy this week . Hugs

Project talk,cooking,more endless chit-chat

I have so many projects I want to do. I can't believe all the free time I have since I hurt my arm :(. I am so antsy. Movies are not the same without something to work on. I am not adjusting well to this.

My bathroom is organized. I mean nothing in my cabinets is out of date. I have little storage thingies with the odds and ends all labeled. In the oven is my meatballs and a loaf of bread....that we don't need. WP will take it to work with him. Here's something on me: I was going to fix a very small roast. I thawed out the roast to find it was hamburger (meatballs). I clean my meat when I get home from the store and repackage it so the hamburger was in roast form. I now need to be creative with meat.

The pic is Ya's quilt. I am hoping to have the squares app. on and set it together by Wed. It will go in the frame. I hope I can still quilt.
The Hello- Kitty things are from my friend that went to Ca. last month. The tea set is from a German MT. village in Ga. I feel so loved.

Project want 2sss Duck hat for a child/infant
Yarny days sweater ( I got the cutest idea)
bear set for GS
bought things for more dish towels
I need another skein of yarn (wool) for a felted hat.
I am bored with the project I started for myself.
ANYTHING FOR A Baby
this is an endless list

Well my dears My project blog is taking one for the mimi. I will get back on track is my mantra. Big hugs good wishes and some giggles for you this week.

Teapots, Snow, and Chit-Chat

Don't be jealous of my teapots ;) they have to be hand washed ever so often. That is not all of them either....what was I thinking I could have a bowl of those little match folders as a collection.

My new teapot I received for Christmas from my dear friend is a Dayspring. It has a Bible verse around the top Galatians 5:22. It is so darling.

We have snow. (Lots) Wp. could not get off the hill last night for work....comp day. WP called the Ky. folks to check on them. Ky. mom (she has memory problems like nan) ask him if they had called off his work. It was so sweet. I heard him say no mom when you are a patrolman work is never called off. I just love her so dearly.

I am slowly working on something for myself((((shocker)))). I am not showing progress pics. Each time I post a pic of a unfinished project it gets frogged. Every blasted time.

My shoulder was hurting last night from crocheting. I am better today so maybe it will wear its self out. I have made a pair of child's knitted mittens, 2 more winter sets. Projects are being picked up before pics are made here lately.

Well when my projects pick up I will make sure this is just my projects blog. I can't crochet or knit for very long at a time my dears I am needy. Hugs

Teapot Twins and a set I finished

The hat scarf and fingerless mitts were almost done when I fell. I had just a tad to do on the scarf. My arm is better, but my hand is now a problem. Send love and good thoughts my way.

My teapot is a twin to the one at
my Aunt bought mine in Piggott,Arkansas many years ago at an old well established drug store. It cost her much more than the $2.00. I never find such bargains deep sigh!!. My teapot collection does have a new one from Christmas. I should post a picture of....it is sweet..

If you visit Chipmunk Knits you will also see we are both doing the fruit transfers from Aunt Martha. I have blogged about the set for a year now and have posted pictures in the past...I am ashamed to say I still have the apple to do. This has jogged my mind .I may get them out and see what using a needle will do to my hand...hugs
